If you want to help out a good cause and raise awareness about Lupus, put on your running shoes. It's the "Walk with Us to Cure Lupus" which is sponsored by the Alliance for Lupus Research. It will be held for the third year on Saturday.

KSBY News talked with one volunteer who has Lupus and say it affects about one and a half million people across America. Jaime Umphenour, a volunteer, said, "It is primarily a woman's disease because nine out of ten of the patients are women. The belief is that it's tied in to the hormone inflections and the most common age is child bearing years."
