Gray, Osmanovic Have Different Stories

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - With the release of 37 audio and video recordings in the Quinn Gray, Jasmin Osmanovic extortion case, it appears to have become a case of he said, she said.

Quinn Gray and Jasmin Osmanovic are both charged with trying to extort $50,000 from Gray's husband.

While both are accused of the same crime, they have very different stories to tell.

Gray said she was kidnapped. Osmanovic said Gray came up with the plot.

"He kept changing the story, constantly changing," Gray said of her alleged co-conspirator in an interrogation video released by police Thursday.

"The truth is going to be you'll put cuffs on her and her husband," Osmanovic said in an interrogation video. "Maybe not her husband, her definitely."

Prosecutors have a massive amount of evidence at their disposal, and detectives said some of it comes from Osmanovic himself -- audio he said he recorded inside the Emerson Inn when he and Gray stayed there Labor Day weekend while she was reported missing. There is also an audio recording of the two in a car afterward.

The audio reveals Osmanovic and Gray having sex, then allegedly discussing plans afterward.

Gray:"When this is over I have your word?"Osmanovic:"What?"Gray:"Whatever story we come up with, we stick to it."Osmanovic:"We both have to stick to the same story because we're both (expletive)."Quinn Gray:"Yeah."

Osmanovic also talks about how he can intimidate Gray's husband, Reid, into paying a $50,000 ransom.

Police said he put a bullet hole in a soda can to send Gray's husband a message.

Osmanovic:"I got to get a Coca-Cola can, metal Coca-Cola can. We can stop by and grab something to drink."Gray:"Why?"Osmanovic:"I'm going to put a bullet through that and I did it from a mile away in front of you. That's, that's, that's how we're going to, and I'm going to let you go after that. I'll let you go later on. You're going to tell them that you got held for three days by three different men. They wanted Reid and they wanted the money he owed them. It had nothing to do with your family, but at this point your family is in danger, you understand that?"Gray:"Um hmm."Osmanovic:"And Reid is the responsible party. That way you can take the kids away from him, you understand that, with you."Gray:"Yeah."

In the recordings, Gray is worried she might not be able to keep her story straight once police start questioning her.

Osmanovic told her not to worry.

Osmanovic:"Like I said, me and you are the only ones that can get us, get ourselves into (expletive) OK."Gray:"Yeah, it's fine, I know, I just, I'm afraid they're going to start asking me questions, trying to trick me."Osmanovic:"Like I said, I'm telling you what happened. I'm not saying (expletive) until this is over. My kids and I'm in danger. Reid's in danger. I just want this to be over."

There is more compelling evidence on the 37 DVDs and CDs obtained by Channel 4.

One is a conversation between Quinn and Reid Gray when he is trying to drop off $50,000 in ransom money.

Quinn Gray:"Why aren't you answering your phone faster? What the (expletive)."Reid Gray:"What are you talking about?"Quinn Gray:"Yeah, I've been tied up all night long, Reid, what the (expletive) is wrong with you. You need to get in the car with the money and go down Butler Boulevard and take a left on Southside."Reid Gray:"I've got to write this down."Quinn Gray:"No, just do it now. Reid, go to Butler Boulevard, take a left. You've got the cops, you're going to get me killed."

Osmanovic Secretly Records Sex Tape Of 2 At Hotel

Police said Osmanovic and Gray spent several nights at a south metro motel.

On one particular morning, Osmanovic wore a recording device and said he's going back to the hotel room to be with Gray.

"We've been staying at the Emerson Inn on Philips Highway. It was Room 207," Osmanovic recorded himself saying. "She stayed the whole night by herself. She didn't want me to stay with her. So, I'm going right now back to there. ... As you can tell, I'm driving, my radio, right now I'm turning it on so you can hear it. ... Walking up to the hotel now."

Osmanovic:"Right now I definitely need you for five minutes. I'm going crazy about you."Quinn Gray:"What?"Osmanovic:"I'm going crazy about you."

Then the two start to kiss. For the next 25 minutes, he records a secret sex tape.

Quinn Gray:"I'm not a slut, you know."Osmanovic:"Does Reid get this much action?"

Eventually Gray and Osmanovic leave the Emerson Inn. They start driving and talking.

Quinn Gray:"I don't think anyone in their wildest dreams would think that I could concoct something like this."Osmanovic:"That's why you're with me."Quinn Gray:"I'm so nervous. I'm going to have to have a few more marks if I'm telling these stories, don't you think?"

Gray then talks about how she'll tell police her abductors tied her up and threw her in the back of a van.

Evidence photos taken of Gray after the ordeal

show marks on her wrists and ankles, but it's unclear how they got there.

Next, a secret recording reveals their plan in dealing with the police -- what they'll do, what they'll say and how they'll act.

"I'm going to be hysterical, don't worry," Gray said in the recording. "Because the minute I'm back into the real world without the safety net of you, I'm going to be freaking the (expletive) out."
