Former Teacher's Aide Granted Shock Probation In Underage Texting Case

A former Madison County teacher's aide who plead guilty to sending sexually explicit text messages to a 13-year-old girl has been granted shock probation.

Earlier this year, 23-year-old Brandon Rousey entered a plea to an amended charge. He was sentenced to a year in prison but will be free on probation after serving less than two months.

Rousey will be on a curfew, is to have no contact with minors, will be monitored by an ankle bracelet and cannot use email, text messaging, Facebook or MySpace.
