A few weeks ago, News 8 reported the story of several local newlyweds who were not getting the wedding albums they paid for.
Now, a Lancaster County photographer has been arrested in the case.
Friday morning, police in East Cocalico Township filed charges against photographer James Wellman.
Wellman was released on bail, but police continue to build their case against him.
About two months ago, Wellman sent letters to some of his clients telling them that he was going out of business and in many cases would not be able to provide the photos and wedding albums they paid for.
After News 8's story aired, East Cocalico police said that they received more complaints.
Police said that Wellman stiffed 20 customers out of more than $48,000.
He was charged with deceptive business practices and theft.
He posted $10,000 bail and was released. No trial date has been set.
