West Des Moines Petland Closes

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - THEIOWACHANNEL.com

Officials confirmed to KCCI on Friday that the Petland store in West Des Moines has closed.

Officials said the store was closed due to financial problems. Puppies at the store were sent back to their brokers, officials said.

The store at 6305 Mills Civic Pkwy. has been the site of protests by groups against Petland. The latest demonstration was earlier this week.
