Woman Sexually Assaulted in Lincoln Park Alley

A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in Lincoln Park Thursday night.

Chicago police said they’re investigating the incident which occurred at 2:30 a.m. in an alley at Lincoln and Armitage avenues, according to Chicago Breaking News Center.

The 31-year-old woman told cops that she met a white male at a bar in Lincoln Park. She remembers talking to him but not much else.

"She said the next thing she remembers is she was in an alley being assaulted," Chicago News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The woman was treated for assault at Illinois Masonic Hospital, according to Greer.
