SANTA ANA – A key accuser in the criminal options-backdating case against former Broadcom Corp. Chief Financial Officer William J. Ruehle was feared by his co-workers and had a reputation as a liar, a witness testified today.
Nancy Tullos, Broadcom's former vice president of human resources, told jurors in Ruehle's criminal fraud trial that ex-employee Merhdad Nayebi was considered to be dangerous, and that billionaire co-founder Henry T. Nicholas was concerned Nayebi would shoot Broadcom employees.
