Jury delivers verdict for the Wapato teacher accused of child rape

***UPDATE*** YAKIMA, Wash. -- A jury delivered a verdict Thursday for a former teacher accused of having sex with one of his students.

The jury found Jesus Vega Barcenas guilty of two counts of second degree rape of a child. Barcenas was found not guilty of two counts first degree child molestation and one count of second degree rape.

Bercenas used to teach at Adams Elementary in Wapato. He reportedly began a relationship with an 11-year-old fourth grader when he was a fifth grade teacher.
