Illness Closes Seymour 6th Grade Center

80 Students Ill With Stomach Flu

SEYMOUR, Ind. - WLKY.com

Seymour Community Schools closed its Sixth Grade Center because of widespread illness.

Superintendent Dr. Teran Armstrong said 80 of 300 students who attend class in the building that houses sixth-graders contracted gastroenteritis.

The Health Department recommended sending the students home and cleaning the school.

The sixth graders will not have class Friday.
