Farrell's opens and dishes up memories

MISSION VIEJO On a pale November morning, one man set out to prove that any time is a good time for ice cream.

It's was only 7:15 a.m. today, and though Foothill Ranch resident John Lukens knew he wouldn't have a scoop of Rocky Road for at least another four hours, it didn't hold him back from lining up for the 11 a.m. opening ofFarrell's Ice Cream Parlourin The Shops at Mission Viejo today.
