FLOWOOD, Miss. - WAPT.com
Stix reopened last week, more than a year after a federal raid closed the Flowood restaurant.
Federal agents arrested nine workers, believed to be illegal immigrants, during a March 2008 raid. The companies, owners, and former restaurant-managers pleaded guilty to harboring illegal immigrants. The managers are expected to be sentenced this month.
The restaurant reopened Oct. 28 with new leadership and has already begun the process that will allow it to serve alcohol.
