( MOBILE , Ala. ) Nov. 3 -- We begin this week in Tillman’s Corner where Dr. Dee Dee Kidd is one of many local physicians hoping to get a shipment of the swine flu vaccine, but she’s still waiting. “No, I don’t have it yet, I’m still waiting for it,” said Kidd. The health department says it's coming, but they haven't sent it to us, so we're all still waiting. Oddly enough, Dr. Kidd wonders after seeing patients this week if she still needs it. “I’m really not seeing that much flu here and I'm not sure why, said Dr. Kidd. I know some of my colleagues around town are seeing quite a bit of swine flu, but we're not seeing a lot of it this week. We checked and it also appears to be tampering off a bit further north in Saraland. Instead, Dr. Mark McDaniel says he's got a lot of children suffering with sinus and upper respiratory infections. Meantime, in West Mobile Dr. Donald Bedsole at American Family Care Center on Montlimar said right now they're out of the swine flu vaccine. What they do have is lots of patients with flu, H1N1 and bacterial infections like mycro plasma. Elsewhere in Downtown Mobile plenty of people are also testing positive for type A flu which is usually H1N1. Robin Normand, a nurse practitioner with the Mobile County Health Department says doctors there are also treating children with strep and ear infections.
