WBAL's Scott Wykoff reported that the Champions Tour requested the 2010 Senior Players Championship move to The TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Potomac and then return to the Baltimore Country Club for the final year of the current contract in 2011.

WBAL News has confirmed that the Board of Governors of the Baltimore Country Club has approved the change.

Constellation Energy has been the tournament sponsor, but right now there is no word if the Baltimore-based energy company will continue its association with the Senior Players Championship.

This year's Constellation Senior Players Championship at Five Farms was won by Jay Haas.
