Buffalo, NY (WKBW) -- In the largest race in Erie County, Erie County Sheriff Republican Tim Howard wins re-election over challenger Democrat John Glascott.

In the Erie County Legislature, Republicans pick up a number of seats, nullifying the Democrat super-majority.

In Amherst, Dr. Barry Weinstein, a Republican, wins the Amherst Town Supervisor seat over Democrat Alice Kryzan and Conservative candidate Bill Kindel.

City of Tonawanda Mayor, Republican Ron Pilozzi wins re-election over Democrat Rick Davis.

Republican Steven Walters wins re-election for Hamburg Town Supervisor over Democrat Patricia Michalek and Independence candidate Dennis Gaughan.
