Body Found in Lake Identified

The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office has identified the body found floating in Lake Michigan on Monday near the Discovery World tourist attraction.

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office has identified the body found floating in Lake Michigan on Monday near theSummerfest grounds.

It's 61-year-old Frances C. Arts. She lived at a Milwaukee group home where she was free to come and go.

Employees of the group home told police they last saw Arts at about noon Sunday.

Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma on the body and the medical examiner determined that drowning was the cause of death. Toxicology tests are pending.
