PA Voters Elect Judges, Supervisors, School Board

FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA - Voters in Pennsylvania had the chance to elect new judges, supervisors, and school board members.
A majority of the Franklin County precincts are reporting their results and are projecting winners for most of the races.
In Waynesboro, Brenda Lucas and Bonnie Bachtull are running a tight race for the two open school board seats.
Also in Waynesboro, in the race for a spot on the Washington Township School Board, Republican candidate Chris Lind is the projected winner with over 62% of the votes. His opponent, Democrat Gregory Ochoa earned just over 37% of vote.
In Mercersburg, five candidates were vying for spots on the school board in the Tuscorora School District, and that race is very close as well. Larry Funk is ahead by less than one percent of votes with 23%. Close behind him is Donnie Piper, who has 22% of the votes.
Results from one other race is that for the magisterial district judge seat formerly held by state senator Rich Alloway, and that is projected to go to Republican candidate Dave Plum, who has 55% of the votes. His opponent, Democrat Carol Anne Redding has 44%.
