Ben Smith and Hailey Smith are charged with disseminating obscenity and solicitation of a child by computer to commit unlawful sex acts.

Investigators say the Web site for Albemarle's Academy of Dance was altered to say "Albemarle's Nude Academy of Dance" and obscene photos were placed on the site. The site also invited children to have "videotaped sex."

The site was altered in December 2008.

The year-long investigation by the Stanly County Sheriff's Office, the State Bureau of Investigations and the FBI found that the site was changed from an Internet service belonging to the Smiths.

Both were being held in jail on $5,000 bond. They're scheduled to appear in court Dec. 7.
