3 Charged In Connection With Waffle House Robbery

RIDGELAND, Miss. - WAPT.com

Ridgeland police have charged three men in connection with a robbery of a Waffle House.

The robbery happened Oct. 10, at 6931 Old Canton Road, police said.

Surveillance video captured images of at least three men, all wearing large sunglasses, police said.

The men were carrying bolt cutters and handguns, police said. The men went into the restaurant manager’s office and cut the locks off using the bolt cutters. They then stole an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Shane Hayes was arrested Tuesday at his apartment and charged with armed robbery, police said. Hayes was identified as the man carrying bolt cutters and wearing green gloves on the surveillance video, police said.

Anthony L. Davenport was arrested at his apartment Monday in connection with the case, police said. Davenport was a Waffle House employee during the time it was robbed, police said. He has been charged with armed robbery, police said.

Louis William Henry, of Bolton, was arrested Friday and is also charged with armed robbery, police said. Police said Henry held a gun while one of the other men cut the locks on the manager's office.
