The deal
Las Vegas is America’s most famous playground, with flashy casinos, world-class entertainment, and a nightlife scene hotter than the city’s daytime temperatures. But Vegas’ lights are about to shine just a tad brighter with new properties like the ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa opening in December 2009 at the CityCenter — a “green” entertainment hub with a plethora of high-end shopping and dining venues.

ARIA Resort & Casino introductory rates from $159/night
Slated to open December 16, the ARIA Resort & Casino has a little extra pizzazz, boasting a 150,000-square-foot casino, and 4,004 stylish guestrooms complete with 42-inch flat-screen televisions, stocked mini bars, soft, luxurious linens, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Sounds heavenly, right?

If you’re a penny-pincher and don’t want to sacrifice on the quality of accommodations when visiting Sin City, you’ll definitely want to check out ARIA’s great introductory rates which start at just $159/night. From December 17 through April 1, 2010, guests who stay two nights at the modern resort will receive $75 resort credit which can be used at the 80,000-square-foot spa, any one of the 13 eateries, as well as other activities and services. Other resort amenities include three pools, nine bars and lounges, and a Cirque du Soleil production celebrating the musical legacy of Elvis Presley.

Vdara Hotel & Spa Grand opening from $129/night
If you’re not interested in rolling the dice during your visit to Las Vegas, then you might want to consider hunkering down at the new, non-gaming, all-suite Vdara Hotel & Spa. MGM Mirage is putting the final touches on this deluxe hotel and has a grand opening scheduled for December 1. Even though the opening date is still a few weeks away, now is a better time than ever to lock in introductory rates of just $129/night — down $30 from standard rates. In addition, guests who stay two nights at Vdara will receive $50 resort credit which can be used for dining, the spa and salon, or any other hotel services. This offer is valid until April 1, 2010.

CityCenter hits center stage

All 1,495 suites in the 57-story hotel will feature gourmet kitchens with designer stainless steel appliances, spa-style bathrooms with soaking tubs and a separate walk-in shower, and flat-screen televisions. In addition, Vdara contains a spacious 40,000-square-foot pool and deck area, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness facility, and is in close proximity to major attractions.
