Several school improvement plans due this week

Levittown - Bucks County Schools Intermediate Unit No. 22 personnel will review improvement plans for several schools in Lower Bucks County this month.The plans are required by the state because the schools landed in either School Improvement or Corrective Action status on the 2009 Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests.In addition to the Bucks County Technical High School improvement plan, I.U. personnel will review plans for Bensalem's high school and Samuel K. Faust and Benjamin Rush elementary school; Clara Barton Elementary School in Bristol Township; Centennial's William Tennent High School in Warminster; Neshaminy's high school and Carl Sandburg Middle School; and Pennsbury High School and Center for Student Learning Charter School at Pennsbury, an agency spokeswoman said.Proposed plans are due to the IU by this week. Finalized plans are due to the state Education Department by Dec. 23, officials said.
