UPDATE: Police Release Name of Woman Killed on Route 50 Sunday

Clarksburg Police have released the name of a woman killed on Route 50 East Sunday.

Mary Belcastro, 87, of Shinnston, died just before 11 a.m. when she ran into a ditch and flipped her car, officers said.

Belcastro apparently had some kind of medical condition that flared up just prior to the accident, but officers were reluctant to say what it was until her autopsy is completed.

Her body has been send to the Office of the Medical Examiner in Charleston, according to police.
