Arkansas Getting H1N1 Vaccine Everyday

updated 5:17 p.m. ET Nov. 2, 2009

The images of Arkansans waiting in line for hours last week to get their flu shots reminds us of how serious this flu season is turning out to be. Many Arkansans are still wanting to know when more of the H1N1 vaccine will become available to them.

"We are getting vaccine in everyday and we're feeling more comfortable with how much vaccine we're getting," said Ed Barham with the Arkansas Department of Health. "If we protect kids, we go a long way in protecting the rest of the population, because the kids catch it, and bring it home to everybody else in the family." Read more atarkansasmatters.com.
