Garage explosion displaces Chanhassen family

CHANHASSEN, Minn. -- A garage explosion forced a family from their home in Carver County late Sunday night.

Crews were called to the home in the 7500 block of 77th Street in Chanhassen shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, the garage was fully engulfed in flames.

The family got out safely and no injuries are being reported from the blast.

The house sustained some damage.

Investigators are still looking into what sparked the explosion.
