More clinics are open this week to administer H1N1 vaccinations in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Department of Health has scheduled additional H1N1 vaccination clinics for Monday, November 2nd, Wednesday, November 4th, and Friday, November 6th from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
The vaccine is offered at no cost to the recipient and appointments are not necessary.
These clinics are open to the following subgroups:
· Pregnant women
· Parents, siblings, and caregivers of infants less than 6 months of age
· Medical and emergency personnel who have direct contact with the patients who may likely have H1N1 influenza
· Children 6 months through 4 years of age
· Children and adolescents age 5 through 18 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risks for influenza-related complications
