It's the end of an era for Midwest Airlines. The Milwaukee-based airline will retire its fleet of Boeing 717's on Monday.
MILWAUKEE - It's the end of an era for Midwest Airlines.
The Milwaukee-based airline will retire its fleet of Boeing 717's on Monday.
Midwest pilots planned to greet the crew of Flight 210 from Boston at General Mitchell International, which is scheduled to arrive at 9:40 p.m.
It will be the last of Midwest Airlines' larger Boeing 717's to fly into Milwaukee.
The aircraft will be returned to the manufacturer on Tuesday.
From then on, Republic Airlines crews will be flying Midwest Planes. Republic purchased a controlling interest in Midwest Airlines.
