Man faces sex assault charges

Levittown - A 68-year-old man was sent to Bucks County Prison on Saturday on charges he sexually assaulted three young female relatives for years, state police said. Troopers arrested Steven McAnally of Myerstown, Lebanon County, as part of an investigation that began when a 10-year-old student in the Quakertown Community School District reported that she had been sexually abused by a relative for two years. A school district guidance counselor reported the allegations to police.While investigating, Trooper Gregg Dietz reportedly discovered that McAnally molested two other female minors for approximately eight years. They were also related to him, police said.On-call District Judge Philip J. Daly sent McAnally to prison on $250,000 cash bail. The investigation continues.
