Police: Woman's Throat Slashed During Domestic Disturbance

A Knox County man is behind bars after police say he slashed his girlfriend's throat during a domestic disturbance Sunday morning.

The Corbin News Journal is reporting, 51-year old Gregory Moore is in the Knox County jail charged with attempted murder and domestic violence for the alleged attack on his girlfriend, 50-year old Mildred Hayden. Police say it happened at a home on Dixon Drive around 9:30 Sunday morning.

According to the paper, after the incident Moore stayed on scene and surrendered to officers.
