Stabbing Leads to Prison Lockdown

LEWISBURG, UNION COUNTY -- A federal prison in central Pennsylvania remained under lockdown Sunday night after a staff member was stabbed and several officers were injured.
It happened at the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary. The prison information officer says two inmates attacked a staffer just before 8:00 Sunday morning.
The injured worker suffered superficial wounds to his chest and lower abdomen and two puncture wounds to his back. The injuries are not life-threatening.
Four responding officers and the two accused inmates suffered minor injuries. The FBI is investigating.
