Coroner: Missing NKY Man Likely Drowned In Pond

CAMPBELL COUNTY - WLWT.com

Campbell County authorities said they found the body of a missing northern Kentucky man.

Isaac Ripberger, 28, was last seen leaving a home on Reis Lane in California, Ky., on Friday night.

They found his body sometime after 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon in a pond near where he was last seen.

Police were not releasing any details about how Ripberger died. But they did say foul play was not involved. The Campbell County coroner said Monday that it appears Ripberger drowned, but he was awaiting toxicology reports.

At least a dozen officers had been searching for Ripberger since Saturday.
