Paris Man Stabbed to Death

Paris Police are investigating an early morning murder.

They say 30 year old Derek Stockton was stabbed 3 times in the torso outside his home on Shannon Road.

Stockton's family says a man was pouding on Stockton's door around 2 Saturday morning. They say when Stockton opened it, the man pulled him out and started stabbing him.

Around 11 Saturday morning, Police issued a search warrant on 43 year old Billy Martin's home on Glenview Drive, just down the street from Stockton's house. Martin was arrested and charged with Murder. He is being held at the Bourbon County Detention Center.
