One Dead In Crash In Superior

One person is dead after a car struck a dump truck Friday in Douglas County.

The crash happened on highway 35 in the town of Superior shortly after 12 p.m. when the vehicle crossed the center line and hit the dump truck.

The driver of the car died, and the driver of the dump truck sustained minor injuries.

The name of the victims are being withheld until family members are notified.
