The Sharkey County Sheriff's Department still doesn't have any new leads to help solve the slayings of a mother and her 3-year-old daughter, officials said.
Last month, someone stabbed Karitha Carroll, 31, to death and cut her 3-year old daughter's throat, the sheriff said. A relative found their bodies Sept. 23 in Carroll’s home on Highway 61 in Cary, the sheriff said.
