In court, Metro Officer Caleb Foster was the first officer to arrive at the scene and described the crash as "chaotic."

Foster testified that Fleet admitted to drinking earlier that afternoon.

"I did notice in the Ford F-150 (Fleet's truck) two 12-pack cartons of Bud Light. One was empty. The other had two unopened cans and three empty crushed cans," said testified Foster on Thursday. "He started to ask me repeatedly if he killed anybody."

Five people were in the Chevy Tracker that was hit in the left rear, including a 4-year-old boy.

All five were taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Raymer died Monday morning.

None of the victims or family members of the victims were in the courtroom on Thursday. Family of Fleet attended the hearing but did not want to talk to Channel 4 afterward.

Fleet did not take a field sobriety test when the crash occurred, but his blood was drawn and police are awaiting the blood-alcohol results.
