The Miami Township Police Department is investigating a report of a possible attempted child enticement that occurred Monday at Riverview Park in Clermont County.
Police said the alleged attempt occurred at about 6 p.m. when the man reportedly entered the park restroom behind a 9-year-old girl and occupied the stall next to hers. He then passed a small toy, possibly from a McDonald's Happy Meal, which had a sticker on it of a SpongeBob SquarePants character.
The girl's mother said she saw the man enter the women's restroom and went to check on her daughter. The man was already inside the neighboring stall when the mother entered and took her daughter with her and left the restroom.
The man was described as a white male in his 20s or early 30s with shoulder-length brown hair and a brown goatee, wearing red and black track pants and a grey T-shirt and was driving a newer model 4 door sedan, possibly an Oldsmobile or Honda.
Miami Township police are investigating the case and encourage any person with information about this matter to contact them at 513-248-3721.
