Investigators in Orange County said they've arrested a suspect who may be connected to as many as 14 robberies in Central Florida.
Authorities said a tip as a result of news coverage led investigators to the suspect, who was then placed under surveillance. He was identified late Thursday as William Bevil and was being taken to the Osceola County Jail.
The surveillance team made the arrest Wednesday evening along Oak Street in Osceola County. The suspect was charged with one count of armed robbery to a Quiznos store. Other charges are expected to be filed.
An investigator said Bevil was involved with drug and needed money, which is why he robbed the stores.
