Teen Accused Of Pulling Switchblade On Classmate

VERO BEACH, Fla. - WPBF.com

A Vero Beach middle school student was arrested after he pulled a switchblade on another student, the Indian River County Sheriff's Office said.

The 13-year-old eighth-grade student at Oslo Middle School was charged with aggravated assault Monday.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told his teacher that the teen pulled a knife out of his pocket and threatened to cut him.

Deputies said they found a 5½-inch switchblade in the teen's possession.
