KANSAS CITY, Mo. - KMBC.com
Police are investigating a man's death early Tuesday morning at a Kansas City apartment.
KMBC's Brenda Washington reported that they were called to the Stonegate Meadows apartments in the 10000 block of E. 42nd Street at about 5 a.m.
Police said the man's girlfriend called 911, saying that he possibly harmed himself. Detectives are still investigating.
Police said a 3-year-old girl and a relative of the girlfriend were in the apartment at the time of the shooting. They were not hurt.
The identity of the 26-year-old man has not been released.
