Woman Head-Butts Cop, Faces More Charges

A Lexington Police Officer was taken to the hospital Monday night after a scuffle during an arrest.

It happened just before 8-30 at the B-P Station at Oxford and Versailles.

Investigators say the officer was arresting a woman on an outstanding warrant when the woman got out of hand... head-butting the officer in the face. The officer was taken to the hospital with a nose injury... but we're told it's not believed to be broken.

The woman faces additional charges of third degree assault.
