NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Garth Brooks sings about love and loss, but this story isn't about emotion. It's all about electronic information.

"I was surprised because it has vital private information," said Brooks fan Megan Nelson.
Megan Nelson is a big fan of Brooks and spent hours online and on the phone in her quest to get tickets. She got them and something else.
"The e-mail had both my confirmation and somebody's else's. And that e-mail includes, name, address, phone number, e-mail address and the last four of your credit card numbers," said Nelson.
Nelson called the box office. She said she was told there was a computer glitch and was told nothing more.
"I think it's a huge privacy violation because of identity theft. I mean they have everything but your Social Security number basically," said Nelson.
Nelson got her tickets from the show's Web site and feels other online users should be warned about the problem.
For now, she has canceled the credit card she used to buy her tickets and notified the major credit bureaus of the trouble.
"If they don't know that their information went some places else, I think they have to right to know if they want to protect themselves," said Nelson.
Channel 4 News set up an interview with the Wynn in Las Vegas, the resort holding the show, but five minutes later the interview was cancelled.
Meantime, tickets for the first 20 shows sold out very quickly this weekend. People who buy tickets cannot put them up for sale. The buyer must be the ticket holder to see the show.
