NY Post: Cuomo running for governor?

The New York Post is reporting that state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has notified former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani that he will run for governor next year against Governor Paterson.

Cuomo and Giuliani are friends and this news is expected to play a big role in Giuliani's decision to run as the republican candidate for governor.

Political insiders believe Giuliani will decide not to run.

Governor Paterson has announced his intentions to run, but trails Cuomo by a large margin in polls.
