From sauces to eggs, a jar of roasted red peppers can go a long way. Chef Sam Zien, author of “Just a Bunch of Recipes,” shares his flavorful recipes for a roasted red pepper sauce, a roasted red pepper and blue cheese bruschetta and more.
Makes about 4 cups
INGREDIENTS
Put everything in a blender, and blend — then all you do is heat some when you need it.
It also freezes well

INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to broil.
Slice baguette lengthwise, place on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Put baguette under broiler about a minute, just to get it a tad crispy. Cover each baguette half with peppers. Cover evenly with blue cheese crumbles. Put under the broiler to heat through and melt the cheese for about 5 minutes. Cut diagonally into 2 to 3 inch pieces and serve.
