“The Beautiful Life: TBL” is over.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW show is the first of the fall season’s freshman series to get the axe, earning a cancellation after just two episodes.
The show was produced by Ashton Kutcher and featured former “The O.C.” star Mischa Barton as a troubled model, but its star power generated less than runway-ready ratings — Wednesday’s episode was watched by a scant 1 million people, or less than a third of Ashton’s Twitter followers.
However, the network is eying several new shows, announcing pick-ups for a pair of reality programs, “Fly Girls” — about Virgin airline attendants — and one on a real-life “Gossip Girl,” New York socialite Tinsley Mortimer.
