LOS ANGELES - “Everybody” may love “Raymond,” but a former assistant doesn’t have love for the comedy star Patricia Heaton.
According to court documents obtained by Access Hollywood, the “Everyone Loves Raymond” star and her producer husband, David Hunt, are being sued by her former personal assistant, Jennifer Lee.
In the suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, Lee claimed she “was fired soon after she requested payment for her unpaid wages.”
Lee claims in the suit that she is the subject of wrongful termination. The former assistant also claims that Heaton blamed Lee’s young child for affecting her work.
Lee worked for the actress and her husband from August 2007 to March 2009. She is asking for a jury trial.
Access has reached out to a rep for Heaton and is awaiting a response.
