BAGHDAD - The U.S. military says an American soldier has died of noncombat-related injuries in Iraq.
A military statement said the soldier from the Multi-National Division — Baghdad died on Friday.
No further details were immediately available.
The soldier's name is being withheld until family members can be notified.
The death raises to at least 4,365 the number of U.S. military personnel who have died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.
