After describing his mother as the sexiest woman he knows and admitting he would marry her had she not given birth to him, Shia LaBeouf fears fans may have the wrong idea about his maternal love. In an interview with “Extra,” the “Transformers” star set the record straight.
“I don’t have any problems appearing crazy to make my mother smile, but she is the most beautiful woman on this planet and I love her,” LaBeouf said. “She’s fly as hell. I stand by that. My mom’s awesome.”
LaBeouf told “Extra” the revealing comments he made in his May interview with Playboy magazine were merely meant as a Mother’s Day treat. According to the actor, the fact that some misinterpreted his statements, which included the tidbit that “I would be with my mother now, if she weren’t my mother, as sick as that sounds,” reflects the reader’s state of mind.
“I think the sickness is also on the other end, to be able to twist the words and make it as ridiculous as that,” LaBeouf insisted. “Clearly, I’m not having sex with my mother. It’s ridiculous.”
Lohan gets ready for her reality TV close-up
While she awaits a second chance to revamp her big-screen career, actress Lindsay Lohan plans to move her act to reality TV and offer others a shot to regain what they’ve lost.
Lohan recently met with “American Idol” host and television producer Ryan Seacrest to discuss her involvement in his latest project.
“Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her,” Seacrest posted to his Twitter account. “It helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together.”

Kaczmarek hinted at marriage woes
Before she and her husband of 16 years, Bradley Whitford, filed for divorce last week, “Raising the Bar” star Jane Kaczmarek dropped hints of her marital woes in an interview with More magazine.

Kaczmarek said she felt comfortable calling friends and asking, “Could you meet me tomorrow for coffee? I’m really in a bad place,” adding that it “gives you such sustenance and courage to face whatever the day’s going to present to you.”
Dish on the fly
According to “Gossip Girl” Blake Lively, it’s not easy portraying teen queen Serena van der Woodsen. “I get up every morning and put on a giant ball gown, 6-inch heels and cat-fight with my best friend, while simultaneously breaking up with my boyfriend and sometimes killing someone,” Lively said in a quote published in the New York Daily News. “And all of this before the sun even comes up!” … He’s not a life coach, but singer-songwriter John Mayer plays one on Twitter. “Okay. This week? We’re going on a diet,” Mayer informed his fans. “All of us. But this is a diet of a different kind. We’re going to regulate the habit of unhappiness.” Mayer’s strategy for keeping the blues at bay includes, “the conscious decision to make the most of what we have” and a plan to achieve “clean straight lines of living.” Whatever that means.
