Maguire on ‘Brothers’ weight loss Nov. 24: Tobey Maguire talks about what he did to prepare for his role in the post-war movie "Brothers," including spending time with men who had come back from war. Plus, he talks about how "intense" it was for him to take weight off for this role. |
Despite a slew of high profile ex-boyfriends that includes Jude Law, Balthazar Getty, indie-rock heartthrob Jamie Burke and Welsh actor Rhys Ifans, Sienna Miller says she’s never been taken on a proper first date and she’s never hooked up with anyone. In fact, she’s really just a “relationship person.”
“I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life,” the actress told Vogue magazine’s July 2009 issue. “I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception.”
The “G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra” star made headlines last summer when she became involved with “Brothers & Sisters” star Balthazar Getty, while he was still married to wife Rosetta, with whom he has four children.
In the new interview, Miller revealed that she falls for guys hard and fast.
“I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them,” she admits. “But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”
Though Miller’s 2006 split with Jude Law was traumatic for the actress, she said it helped her grow — even aiding her acting chops.
“I think I discovered a whole new emotional depth that I didn’t have access to before. When you have your heart broken for the first time, you gain depth,” she said, adding, “And that’s why actors tend to get better with age, I think.”
