Sept. 30, 2003 - Marc Abrahams, the founder of the Ig Nobel Prizes, joins MSNBC.com for a live audio chat. Each year, Abrahams parodies the prestigious Nobel prizes by honoring research that “cannot or should not be reproduced.” MSNBC.com science editor and Cosmic Log columnist Alan Boyle chats with Abrahams about past Ig Nobels and the coming 2003 awards. Chat producer Will Femia moderates using questions from listeners.
