Looking for quick and appetizing dishes that the entire family will enjoy? Try Kathie Lee Gifford’s lemon chicken and Sara Haines’ buffalo chicken dip. The co-host and the special correspondent of TODAY’s fourth hour share their simple and savory recipes.

Lemon chicken

INGREDIENTS

6 chicken cutlets, pounded thin
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Olive oil
Unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups of white wine
2 or 3 lemons
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
1/4 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
Salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

Put salt and pepper into the flour and dust the chicken lightly. Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet. Saute the chicken lightly till done. Remove to a platter. In the same skillet add the wine and stir over medium heat. Let the wine reduce a little bit. Add the lemon juice, lemon zest, sage, pepper, salt.

Continue stirring until the sauce is reduced. The lemon flavor should be the most pronounced. If it’s not, add more lemon juice.

Return the chicken to the skillet. Bathe them in the lemon juice and turn the heat off. Garnish with lemon slices.

Buffalo chicken dip

INGREDIENTS

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups sour cream
1 cup blue cheese salad dressing
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
2 1/2 cups shredded chicken, cooked
8 ounces provolone cheese, shredded

DIRECTIONS

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Serve with Tostito Scoops.
