Myrtle Beach, S.C., from $67 per room per night
The Red Hot Summer Deals at the Landmark Resort will save you about 20 percent off normal rates. The resort has a water park with a lazy river and a nine-hole mini-golf golf course. There's also a free airport shuttle. The 326-room hotel is right on the sandy beach of the Atlantic and about a mile from a golf course. Rates start at $67 per room per night for a standard guest room; upgrade to an ocean-view room for an additional $7 per night or to an oceanfront suite for an additional $28 per night.

Norfolk, Va., from $98 per room per night
The Sail Into Savings promotion includes accommodations at a discounted room rate and discounts to attractions like the Norfolk Botanical Garden (admission $6, a savings of 10 percent), the Chrysler Museum of Art (admission $7, buy one get one free), and American Rover Sailing Cruises (cruise $14, buy one get one free). Norfolk, a major port and military base, has a public beach, Ocean View Park, which hosts events throughout the summer. There are 10 hotels participating in the package, with the downtown Norfolk Plaza Hotel being the least expensive, starting at $98 per room per night (a savings of about 15 percent).

Naples, Fla., from $99 per room per night
The Escape package at the Naples Grande Resort & Club includes accommodations and a fourth night free when you stay three nights. There are also discounts and perks, such as free breakfast for kids under 10 and a half-day Kids Club session for kids under 12. Discounts include 25 percent off golf fees and lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and 15 percent off spa treatments, gift shop purchases, and a personal-trainer session or tennis lesson. All told, the discounts could save you up to $400. The 23-acre waterfront resort has three miles of sand beach and three swimming pools, including a family pool with a 100-foot waterslide. Rates start at $99 per room per night, and with the fourth night free, you'll save almost 50 percent off typical rates.

Book by: July 15, 2009 and receive a free night on another stay through Dec. 20, 2009.

The Stimulus Savings Special at the Ash Street Inn represents a savings of 35 percent off typical rates and includes breakfast daily. The inn is in Fernandina Beach's historic downtown, a 10-minute walk from a shopping and dining area. There are 13 miles of beach to explore on Amelia Island, which is about 35 miles north of Jacksonville. Rates start at $119 per night for a standard room; a premium room (with a whirlpool bathtub) starts at $199 per night.

Cape Cod, Mass., from $125 per room per night

The $125 rate is good for a one-bedroom Arbor Village suite, with a full kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer. Additionally, guests staying four nights or more receive a $50 resort credit good toward dining, spa treatments, or golf on the region's only Jack Nicklaus–designed 18-hole course. Rates start at $125 per room per night, or $875 for the required seven-night stay.
