LOS ANGELES - Police in Los Angeles say "Point Break" actress Lori Petty has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Police Sgt. Richard Parks says the 45-year-old Petty was taken into custody on Sunday in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles. He had no immediate details on the circumstances leading to her arrest.

Petty was booked into jail and released after posting $100,000 bail.

A call to her manager was not immediately returned.

Petty was the star of the 1995 movie "Tank Girl" and has also appeared in "Point Break" and "A League of Their Own."
